Mayor & Council

The City Council consists of four City Councilmembers and the Mayor.

The Mayor is elected to his position every two years.

Newfolden Councilmember's serve a four year term. Two of the four Councilmember's terms expire every two years. Which means that through the important votes of the citizens of Newfolden, two Councilmembers are either reelected or replaced during each election cycle.
