Councilmember Mark Augustine

Councilmember Augustine was elected to his first term in 2004. He serves on the Infrastructure Committee. Councilmember Augustine is employed in the construction business. Mark has resided in the Newfolden area for 27 years. Mark resides in Newfolden with his wife Miki (Waterworth) and their daughter Kaydence.

Councilmember Melissa Bjorgaard

Melissa was elected to the Newfolden City Council in 2018. Melissa works for the Marshall County Central District Office. She is married to Andy and has four children.

Councilmember Darin Jacobson

Councilmember Jacobson was appointed to his first term in May of 2005. He resides on the Budget Committee. Darin has lived in Newfolden for three years and is employed as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Arctic Cat, Incorporated. Darin is married to Jessica (Rokke) and has three children, Ruby, Levi, and Denny.

Councilmember Adam Gast

Adam Gast is our newest elected official. Adam has served on the City Council since 2021. Adam resides in Newfolden with his wife Mandy and children, Macey and Kendal. Adam works as a Deputy for the Marshall County Sheriff's Department. Melanie serves on the Park and Recreation Committee.
