Sanitation & Recycling

The City of Newfolden contracts with Spruce Valley Enterprises for solid waste collection and recycling. All residents within the community are required to have garbage collection and all residential and commercial customers are encouraged to recycle when they are able!

Most trash and debris, when bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of, at curbside, during regular garbage pick up every Wednesday morning. Garbage pick-up can be very early and you are urged to set your refuse out Tuesday evenings.

Recycling bins for magazines/phonebooks, plastic, and aluminum are available just South of the City Shop. We work with Mar-kit Services for our recycling needs.
